Little Giada’s dresser is done!
Annie picked out such a pretty color – Martha Stewart’s Bedford Grey. It’s an interesting color – not quite gray, not quite beige, not quite brown. It’s a perfect color against the walls. I was going to use Annie Sloan’s Paris Grey, but when I put a sample up against the wall it looked like a bluish/periwinkle color. Ugh. So Bedford Grey it was…
The dresser belonged to Annie’s parents.
It is made out of pine.
Lots of dents and holes to fill!
Lots of distressing.
I applied a little bit of gold metallic paint over the primer (before I added the Bedford Grey).
You can see it peeking through a bit, which is exactly what I wanted.
Love the knobs and pulls that Annie chose from The Door Stop on Etsy.
Annie loves it.
Which makes me VERY HAPPY.
What do you think?
I’m partying at these awesome blogs:

It turned out great. The gold was a smart addition.
