Happy April everyone!
I believe it’s Easter Break for many of you with your kids.
I bet you are enjoying some good, quality, family time this week.
I miss coloring Easter Eggs and getting excited for the Easter Bunny’s visit!
Enjoy those little ones because they grow up awfully fast.
I’m thankful that the memories of those special, magical times don’t fade…
Are you ready to see the highlights from last weeks Link Party #27?
Lauren from Totally Lauren Amber made this adorable Family Rules Sign.
I love the way she incorporated some “fun” rules in her sign
along with the “serious” ones.
“Sing silly, dance crazy, hug lots, snuggle often, say “I love you”.
Lori from Bleak 2 Unique shared this adorable Heart Bench that she made from an old piano bench.
Did you know she is decorating a house 3,000 miles away?
Her NEW house!
This bench will be going into her new master bedroom.
One of my favorite things about spring is ASPARAGUS being in season. Zoe from Scouts Stitches shared this healthy recipe.
Here is a little trivia for you. Did you know that when you smell asparagus in your urine (some people do and some people don’t) it’s because you have the “asparagus receptor” in your nose?? Most people think it’s because the smell is in the urine… but it’s in your nose!!! That’s why some people smell it and some people don’t! Now aren’t you glad I shared that with you??
I’m lovin’ this sweet little Bunting that Debbie from On the Refrigerator Door shared.
Donata from DK’s Craft Cafe shared these beautiful Crochet Baskets.
I can think of all kinds of things to put in these baskets!
Definitely could be used in just about any style of home.
Missy from Lookie What I Did shared this adorable decorated Digital Frame.
I, like Missy am not a digital picture frame fan….
they are always so B O R I N G.
Missy’s frame is FAR from boring!
McVick from Center Of Attention Deficit Disorder shared this amazing Tray Transformation.
Visit her blog to see what it looked like originally.
What a transformation!
I’m lovin’ this Wood Sunflower that Karen from Somewhat Quirky Design made.
I’d love to see this hanging on my fence.
Did you stash some Girl Scout Thin Mints in your freezer? Jen from Jen’s Favorite Cookies shared this recipe for Thin Mint Krispie Treats.
Amanda from Burlap and Denim linked up a tutorial on how to use vaseline when refinishing a door and also how to antique a mirror.
Vaseline Method
Mirror Antiquing
This door turned out amazing!
Thank you Amanda for the tutorials.
Kim from Made In A Day shared a tutorial on how these fabulous Vintage Sea Pictures were created.
Jodi from Meaningful Mama showed us her baking talent….
This Rainbow Birthday Cake is UNBELIEVABLE!
WOW!!!
And last, but most definitely not the least is this printable that Kathleen from Inspired By Family Magazine shared.
I’m going to have to find a prominent spot in my house to display this verse.
Thank you everyone for sharing all of your amazing
projects, printables and recipes.
If you were featured, I’d appreciate it if you cut and paste a “featured” button on your blog so others can link to the party.
