How About Some Retail Therapy?

Happy Sunday everyone!

We did the time change here in California…now I feel like I have even LESS hours in the day.  Ugh.

I pretty much had a “down day” yesterday.  Not a “mood down day”, just a “I’m doing nothing today” kinda day.  So I spent a lot of time stalking other blogs… (definitely one of my favorite things to do).

I ran across across a website called Joss and Main.  They have a wonderful sale going on, so I did a little retail therapy (gotta keep this economy going!).  Here is what I bought:

It was only $25!!!! Shipping was $6.50 or $7.00. What a great deal! I’m so excited about it and can’t wait to get it in the mail.  There were a few other things I would have loved to have ordered…

This adorable tiered stand.

…and this whimsical bird made out of cement.
I was surprised to see that the shipping price stayed the same.

Joss and Main have quite a few different categories that will suite everyone’s taste.  Head on over and check it out!

Then, I decided that I’m going to make this:

With the change of time, it will be getting dark early so I need something to do (I can never just sit and do nothing).  So I decided to crochet some granny squares.  I’m heading off to Joanne’s to see if I can get a pattern and some yarn to get started.  If anyone knows of a good tutorial, send me the link!

I’ll have highlights posted from #7 Link Party “Turning the Daunting Into the Do-able” up tomorrow evening.  There are some amazing projects linked up this week!

Have you made any Christmas gifts or Christmas Crafts lately that has a tutorial?  If so, I’d love it if you would link it up to my Christmas Craft Tutorial Party that will be going on through the month of November. Need some inspiration for Christmas decorations or gifts? Click on the link below the button to see all of the crafty projects.  The best part? They all have great tutorials so YOU can make them.

Have a wonderful Sunday!

  2. Nothing like retail therapy…. 🙂

  3. I frequent Joss and Main also. Hautelook, Ideeli, The Foundry, and Habitat are also really cool sites that have great prices on lovely items.

The time change sure does make a difference…I can get up better but want to go to bed earlier! LOL

  4. I love Joss and Main! I have those on my daily list of shopping sites along with The Foundary, Gilt, and One Kings Lane.
