Turning the Daunting Into Do-Able Highlights from #2 Party

Wow! You bloggin’ gals are amazing and inspiring and oh, so talented.  I’m amazed at the beautiful projects that you all link up.

Thank you to each and every one of you for linking up to #2 party.  Because of YOU, it was a smashing success!

{Insert GROUP HUG here}

Athena from The Stuff of Success “glamorized” her daughter’s boots that were completely worn out! You know how kids have their favorite clothing items that they want to wear EVERY DAY?  While her daughter slept soundly one night….she went to work on her boots!  She used ModPodge and Glaze…who would have ever thought of that???  Athena did!  Check these out:

Aren’t they great? I would have been so nervous that I would have messed them up and then she would have been mad!!!!! Good job Mom!

Katy, from Mom And Her Drill created a banquette from a bi-fold door AND a plate rack for a friend’s kitchenette.

Katy, you are AMAZING.  What a difference and it only cost $30!  Go Katy, Go!!!

Lina from Fancy Frugal Life free-floated her witch and added feathers on the frame.  See her wreath?  She has a great tutorial.  I love her spooky mantel.

Diana from Closet Crafter feathered her pumpkin!!! I’ve seen a lot of pumpkins, but NOT a feathered one….

Doncha’ just want to pet it? It is so darn cute.

Heather from Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious (and NO I couldn’t cut and paste it) made an awesome feathered boa wreath.

Kaitlin from Not So Simple Housewife shared her Pumpkin Spice Latte Cupcakes in a customized wrapper…a Starbucks cup!  Whip cream and all.

YUM, one of my favorite fall drinks…turned into a cupcake.  So creative.

Dana from Make Them Wonder shared an amazing secret.  Hint:  Modpodge and a credit card… did you figure it out?????

Still can’t figure it out??? Well you will have to go to her blog to find out!  She has a great tutorial on how to use these two little hints to make these amazing stripes.  I love this foyer.

Last, but definitely not least I wanted to share this sweet little acorn that Kim made from Craftaphile.  I’m always up for learning a new craft and this is something I have not pursued.  When I saw this little guy I was (and still am) ready to learn needle felting.

Soooo cute!

Are ya’ll ready for Party #3? I hope so! Can’t wait to see what get’s linked up this week.
