Happy Friday! This feels like it has been the loooongest week! I have a busy but fun weekend planned – baby shower and a craft night. We are going to be making the yarn fall wreath with the felt flowers. Should be a fun evening!
I’m going to try VERY HARD not to go by the thrift stores today….ugh. BUT Fridays seem to be the BEST days!!! Pray for me! 
My Halloween mantle is finally done! When the kids were little, I decorated more for Halloween. I decided this year to just decorate the mantle in our family room. I’m very proud of myself…I spent a total of $12 this year on my Halloween decorations!
I’m keeping it simple this year….there is a black raven sitting on the Cinderella Pumpkin but you can’t see him!
I glued my “Happy Halloween” blocks to a wicker tray (sprayed black) that I found for $1.75 at the thrift store and added a black and white checked ribbon.
I love my witch. I bought her a few years ago. When you wind her up she plays the song from The Wizard of Oz…”The Wicked Witch is Dead”. I added the orange spider to her dress.
Here’s my black cat that a friend gave to me. I added a bow and a spider. I love it!
I purchased this 3 tiered plate from a thrift store for $2.75. The plates were white and the metal part in between the plates is actually plastic. It was gold and all scratched up. I took it all apart and and spray painted it. I love how it turned out.
I keep picturing the old fashioned black licorice spirals on it. I need to go buy some…or cupcakes would be cute too.
Yesterday I made this fun Halloween Banner. So simple – felt, wooden letters (paper decopaged on it) and 2 different styles of ribbon – one for trim and one to hang it with.
So that’s it! FINALLY decorated for Halloween.
We had a storm roll in a few days ago…rain and temperatures dropped down into the 60′s. I woke up this morning and it was foggy! It is starting to feel like fall around here and the trees are starting to turn colors. I’ve had a tough time getting in the mood to decorate around here with it being in the 90′s!
